Adeline A. Donahue

Adeline A. Donahue , 99, formerly of Rasselas Road, Wilcox, PA, passed away at The Canopy at Warner Robins on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, following a brief illness.

She was born on March 8, 1924 in St. Marys PA, a daughter of the late John and Genevieve Benninger Smith

On May 4, 1946, she married the late James T. Donahue, who preceded her in death in 1995.  Together they shared more than 49 years of marriage.

Adeline was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School and Warren business college. She was employed at Stackpole Carbon Company until her retirement in 1986. She moved to Warner Robins, GA in 2013 where she enjoyed the sun, swimming and gardening.

She is survived by five children; Kathleen Kear and spouse Arthur Kear of Austin, PA, James E. Donahue and spouse Lynda Donahue of Ridgway, PA, Judith A. Haight and spouse Joseph Haight of Wilcox PA, John A. Donahue and spouse Sheri Donahue of Warren, PA, and Bonita A. Foster of Warner Robins, GA.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Adeline was preceded in death by her two great grandchildren, Gracen Fukui and Hannah Wolfe, her beloved twin sister, Madeline Huff, her brothers Richard Smith and John Smith, and by sister, Genevieve Smith Aiello.

Funeral Services for Adeline A. Donahue will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
