Alex was a 2021 graduate of St. Marys Area High School, and had worked at Centre Wisp Venture Company for the past few months, a job he greatly enjoyed. An avid fisherman, Alex loved the outdoors and also enjoyed hunting and shed hunting. He was a dedicated football fan who loved the Chicago Bears and enjoyed cheering them on. Lovingly referred to as Bubbalou by his parents, Alex was a kind hearted, generous, and thoughtful young man. Some of his other nicknames included Alexa, Albert Ficklestein, and Mustafer, which he always got a kick out of. Having touched the lives of so many with his impish grin, heart of gold, and gentle demeanor, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his parents; Erica (Jarin Lovenduski) Swanson and Tyler (Sheila Thompson) Swanson, he is survived by two siblings whom he adored and doted on; Austin and Airiana Swanson, both at home. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents; Janet Beimel of Kersey and Cory Fries of Florida, his paternal grandparents; Linda Muroski of Weedville and Randy Swanson of Kersey, his maternal great-grandmother; Beatrice “Vavao” Beimel of Kersey, his step-grandmother; Corinne Segalla and step-great-grandmother; Joann Segalla. He is also survived by his girlfriend; Faith Smith of Weedville, and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
