Anthony "Charlie" Distler

Anthony C. "Charlie" Distler , 78, of 249 Rightmeyer Street, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at at his home.

He was born on May 14, 1936, a son of the late Charles and Emma Eckert Distler.

Charlie attended St. Marys Parochial Schools and retired from Stackpole Carbon Company after many years of service.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and will be remembered by his friends that he had in town.

He is survived by several cousins and close friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Distler.

Funeral and committal services for Anthony "Charlie" Distler are being held privately.

Interment will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
