Arthur N. Hillebrand
, 82, of 1046 E. Eschbach Road, St. Marys, died on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie following a short illness.
He was born December 6, 1928 in Ambridge, a son of the late Joseph and Ida Hillebrand.
On October 28, 1950 in St. Marys Church, he married the late Lillian "Mickie" Samick Hillebrand who preceded him in death on December 5, 1995.
Art was a member of Queen of the World Church. He was also a member of the Campowner's Association and the American Powdered Metallurgy Institute (APMI) International. He served as chairman of the Western Pennsylvania APMI chapter from 1976 until 1977. Mr. Hillebrand began his career in powdered metallurgy at the age of 16. After multiple achievements and promotions, he co-founded Eastern Sintered Alloys in 1979. He was an avid i
