Barbara A. Martini

Barbara A. Martini , 76, of 1563 Bucktail Road, St. Marys, died at her home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 following a lengthy illness.

She was born on December 25, 1945, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Charles and Loretta Schatz Nissel.

On January 9, 1965, she married Roger Martini, Sr. who survives of St. Marys.  Together they shared more than 57 years of love, laughter, and happiness.

Barb was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School and member of Queen of the World Church.  She enjoyed fishing and flowers.  She also enjoyed a ride on her John Deere tractor, and she could often be found mowing and caring for her lawn.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of more than 57 years, Roger Martini, Sr., she is survived by a daughter; Lisa Ehrensberger and her husband Ron, by a son; Roger Martini, Jr., and his wife Teri, both of St. Marys, and by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by three sisters; Kathleen “Daisy” Rowley and her husband Gil, Beverly Erich, and Charlotte Vollmer and her husband Doodge, all of St. Marys, and by one brother; Marvin “Husky” Schatz and his wife Marilyn of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Tammy Ann Pichler on July 7, 2007, by three sisters; Christine Schatz, Thalia “Mickie” Huefner, and Marlene Pichler, and by two brothers; Charles “Merle” Schatz and Milton “Hovie” Schatz.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara A. Martini will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, Pa 15857 with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Queen of the World Church from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.

There will be no public visitation.

Burial will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Penn Highlands Elk Community Nurses.
