Carolyn M. Taylor

Carolyn M. Taylor , 52, of 468 West Creek Road, St. Marys, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown following a lengthy illness.

She was born in DuBois on December 21, 1969, a daughter of Ronald Ross, Sr. who survives of DuBois and the late Barbara Novitsky Ross, who preceded her in death on May 15, 2022.

On September 10, 1993, she married her best friend and love of her life, Timothy R. Taylor, Sr.  Together they were blessed with more than 28 years of love, laughter, and friendship.

Carolyn was a graduate of DuBois High School, class of 1987.  She then proudly earned her LPN degree from Clearfield County Vocational School, and went on to be a wonderful nurse who cared for many people over the years.  An avid history buff, she loved history and trips to Gettysburg.  She was also an animal lover, and loved spoiling her cat and dogs.  In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed camping, knitting, and gardening.  Never turning down a chance to watch a musical with her daughter, she also had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing.  Most of all, she was a vibrant and caring daughter, wife, and mother who adored her family and loved spending time with them.

In addition to her father and her beloved husband, Timothy R. Taylor, she is survived by her three children whom she treasured; Timothy Taylor, Jr., Michael Taylor, and Kaitlyn Taylor, all of St. Marys.  She is also survived by a brother; Ronald (Ann Marie) Ross, Jr. of Akron, OH, her paternal grandmother; Dorothy Ross of DuBois, her mother-in-law; Ethel Taylor of St. Marys, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; Kenneth Ross, by her maternal grandparents; Anthony and Grace Novitsky and by her father-in-law; Richard Taylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Carolyn M. Taylor will be celebrated at Queen of the World Church, 145 Queens Road, St. Marys, Pa 15857 on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.

Family and friends will be received at Queen of World Church on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
