Chad Jeremy Cunningham
, 41, of New York, NY died unexpectedly in his New York apartment on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
He was born on August 7, 1974 in Ridgway, a son of Edward and Brenda Cunningham, who survive.
Chad was a graduate of Point Park University with a degree in the Performing Arts. He was currently working as a bartender/waiter at one of his best friends restaurants and was also in the process of opening up a new business in New York City
.
He had a passion for singing and dancing, laughing, his friends and family. He was greatly loved by his many Aunts and Uncles, and loved his nieces and nephew dearly. He took what he learned with his degree and traveled the world on cruise ships, doing what he knew and loved.
Not only was he traveling the world on cruise ships, but also lived in many cities and countries, including California and Japan (working at the Disney Corporations) making new friends everywhere he went. The friends he met around the world turned into family, and he cherished every moment he had with them. His friends and family describe him as the most angelic, positive and humble person, with a contagious laugh and fun attitude. He truly lived life to the fullest with no regrets, and loved and cherished every moment he had with his family and friends. He would have done anything for anyone and will always be remembered for his personality, positivity, and laughter.
In addition to his parents. Ed and Brenda Cunningham of St. Marys, he is survived by two siblings Brett (Heidi) Cunningham of St.Marys, and Brittany (Alex) Wendel of St.Marys, his nieces and nephew; Aria and Alex Wendel, and Courtney Luepkes, and by his maternal grandmother Delores Connelly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Catherine Cunningham, and his maternal grandfather Robert Connelly.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to the American Heart Association or to the Humane Society.
Funeral and committal services were held privately in New York City.
