, 89, of 4274 Gardner Hill Road, Weedville, died on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at DuBois Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born April 22, 1921 in Weedville, a son of the late Cecil and Myrtle Gardner Smith.
On January 2, 1941, he married the late Evelyn Anderson Smith, who preceded him in death on July 2, 2006.
Mr. Smith was a lifelong resident of Weedville and was a member of the Weedville Methodist Church. He graduated from Weedville High School and served in the US Army during WWII. He worked as an equipment operator and enjoyed hunting, i
