Charles B. Wolff

Charles B. Wolff , 85, of Daguscahonda, died on Wednesday evening, October 10, 2012 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois following a brief illness.

He was born May 28, 1927 in St. Marys, a son of the late Miles R. and Margaret Watson Wolff.
On July 2, 1949 in Ridgway, he married the late E. Louise Eynon Wolff, who preceded him in death on August 26, 1998.

Mr. Wolff retired from Stackpole Carbon as a truck driver and was a member of their Quarter Century Club.  He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  He was a member of the Ridgway Fire Dept. Auxiliary.  He was affectionately known as "Gramps" and was an active member of the Island Run Fish Hatchery and greatly enjoyed spending time there.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was the last member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by:
2 Brothers: Miles Wolff, Jr. and Donald W. "Kike" Wolff
2 Sisters: Elva Wolff and Helen Snyder

Son-in-Law: John Zameroski

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael Street, St. Marys, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.


Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
