Christopher Carlson

Christopher M. Carlson , 41, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 in St. Marys.
He was born June 1, 1973 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, N.Y.

He was the youngest son of Thomas Carlson from Alabama.
He graduated from Central High School in Coosa County, Alabama. He held a Bachelor of Science degree in audio and music from the State University of New York at Fredonia. He was an accomplished musician, avid reader and loved to travel. He taught English in South Korea.
He is survived by his wife, Allison Nussbaum; beloved daughters Marcella and Julia; a stepson, Simon, from St. Marys; his brother, Sean (Carolyn); a nephew, Andrew; a niece, Danielle from Alexander City, Alabama; and aunts Karen (Terry) Bryant from Randolph, N.Y. and Cheryl (Paul) Wilhelm from Hopewell Junction, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Barbara Mathews; and his mother, Linda Mathews.
A Memorial Service for Christopher Carlson will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 12:00 PM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
