Clarence G. "Butch" Gausman

Clarence G. "Butch" Gausman , 92, of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 276 N. St. Marys St., St. Marys, died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 21, 1918 in St. Marys, a son of the late Fred and Margaret Krug Gausman.

Mr.Gausman was a member of St. Marys Church.  He served in the Army during World War II from 1944 until 1946.  He retired from Speer Carbon Company after more than 40 years of service.  He enjoyed watching sports on television.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Clarence G. "Butch" Gausman will be celebrated at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 139 Church Street, St. Marys on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Meinrad Lawson, O.S.B., as Celebrant.
A Military Service will be conducted by the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch- Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM.
