Connie W. Fannin

Connie W. Fannin, 81, of Ridgway, passed away on Wednesday April 9, 2025, at UMPC Presbyterian Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born on September 23, 1942, in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Gerald and J. Nadine Bullers Wilson.

On July 16, 1982, she married the late Raymond A. Fannin, who preceded in death on November 24, 2021.

Connie was protestant by faith. She was a member of the American Legion, and the local ham radio club. Connie was a medical assistant for many years, and after retirement she drove school bus for Muccio Transportation until 2019. She could often be found crocheting mittens or scarves for her great-grandkids. She was also known for making cookies, cakes and many other sweet treats. Connie's smile could light up a room, especially when spending time with her family. 

She is survived by 3 daughters: Tracey Amacher of Ridgway, Johnna Winters of Ridgway, Tiffany Baker of Brockway, 6 grandchildren: Kiersten Amacher, Cody (Tracey) Amacher, Lauren (Thomas) Cooney, Kari (Derrik) Keene, and Brandi Bennett and Travis Bennett, and 12 great grandchildren: Biancia, Zachary, Sage, Danica, Hayden, McKenzie, Michael, Wesley, Luca, Livia, and 2 step grandchildren, Kristen and Justin. She is also survived by a brother, John Wilson of Kersey, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons-in-law,David Amacher and Brian Winters, a sister-in-law, Linda Wilson, and grandson-in-law, Justin Ellenberger.

A Memorial Service for Connie W. Fannin will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15846, with Rev. Ron Burkett officiating. 

Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Krise Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
