Corinne "Cookie" Kuntz

Corinne D. "Cookie" Kuntz , 85, a resident at the Hacienda Rehab and Care Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona and formerly of Elk Towers and 119 Maurus Street, St. Marys, died on Sunday, February 19, 2012 following a lengthy illness.

She was born February 15, 1927 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Clarence T. and Gertrude Klausman Decker.
On November 5, 1949 in Sacred Heart Church, she married the late Francis L."Frank" Kuntz, who preceded her in death on September 29, 2005.

Mrs. Kuntz graduated from Central High School in the class of 1945, and from St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1948 where
she became a registered nurse.  She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, where she had volunteered for many years.
She had also volunteered and had been active with the Cub Scouts where she had also served as a den mother.  She was
also a member of the Nurse's Study Club and enjoyed going for walks.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Corinne "Cookie" Kuntz will be Celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 325 Center Street, St. Marys, on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys on Friday evening from 5-8 PM
