Corrine M. Alphonso,
84, of 201 Russ Lane, St. Marys, died at her home on Thursday, January 17, 2013 following a lengthy illness.
She was born February 15, 1928 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late George and Bertha Eberl Meier.
On May 8, 1954 in St. Marys Catholic Church, she married the late Harold Alphonso, who preceded her in death on November 4, 1994.
Mrs. Alphonso was a member of St. Marys Church. She was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1946. She graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1949. She had worked at the VA in Buffalo and then at the former Andrew Kaul Hospital for many years as a registered nurse. She enjoyed reading, helping others and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Meier.
There will be No Visitation. Funeral Services will held privately at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, St. Marys.
