Cynthia J. Mccullough

Cynthia J. "Cindy" McCullough , 61, of 2274 River Road, Weedville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home.

She was born on June 4, 1959, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Ronald Newell and Eleanor Samick Newell of St. Marys.

On August 13, 1983 in Queen of the World Church, she married Brett McCullough, who survives of Weedville. Together they shared nearly 38 years of love, laughter, and happiness.

Cindy was a lifelong resident of the area and graduate of St. Marys High School, class of 1977.  Over the years, she was employed by MexAmerica and recently by Accu Sort.  Loved by all who came into contact with her, Cindy was a kind and gentle woman who enjoyed spending time and relaxing at her home with her beloved husband.  She also enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of nearly 38 years, she is survived by one sister; Carol Pearson and her husband Doug of Kersey, and by four brothers; Larry Newell and his wife Lorelei of St. Marys, Mike Newell and his wife Jean of Johnsonburg, Jeff Newell and his wife Chris of Kersey, and Ed Newell and his wife Jen of New Paltz, NY.  She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friend; Mertella Benevich.

She was preceded in death by her father.
