Dale J. Farley
, 70, of N. Mill Street, Ridgway, and formerly of Kersey, died Monday, November 1, 2021 at his home following a short illness.
He was born in St. Marys on July 16, 1951, a son of the late Robert and Veronica Knight Farley.
He is survived by two daughters; Pebble Lipinski and her husband Damion of St. Marys and Patience Park and her husband William of Titusville, FL, and by two grandchildren; Samuel and Ananias. He is also survived by a brother; Craig Farley of St. Marys, a sister; Donna Tucker of Kersey, and by his former wife; Suzette Farley of St. Marys.
Dale was educated in St. Marys Schools and then served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Over the years, he was employed by Metaldyne as an electrician, and as a correctional officer at SCI-Forest in Marienville. He was a known for his handyman skills and could fix most anything. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his guitar. He also loved watching football and racing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; David Farley.
A Memorial Service for Dale J. Farley will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Elk Baptist Church, 191 Ford Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Barry Moyer officiating.
Military Honors will be accorded by the U.S. Marines Funeral Detail.
There will be no visitation.
