Darrel C. "Bubba" Green, 79, a resident of Christ the King Manor in DuBois, and formerly of
150 Cherry Road
, Kersey, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Christ the King Manor following a lengthy illness.
He was born on December 30, 1935, a son of the late Charles and Mary Ann Fields Green.
On September 10, 1960 in St. Marys Church, he married Frances V. Hoffman, who preceded him in death on September 30, 2012.
Bubba was a lifelong resident of the area and worked at Stackpole Catbon Company for more than 40 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in St. Marys and the Elks Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by a brother, Robert L. Green and his wife Mary Jo as well as by several nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.
In addition to his wife, Frances V. Hoffman Green, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Karrol A. Green and by a sister, Mary Lou Lecker.
Viewing and Funeral Services for Darrel C. "Bubba" Green are being held privately. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
