David W. Ehrensberger

David W. Ehrensberger , 83 of 1543 Bucktail Road, St. Marys died on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at his home following an illness of the past two years.
He was born on April 15, 1937, in St. Marys, a son of the late Edward and Marie Fuller Ehrensberger.
On October 1, 1960, in Queen of the World Church, he married Lea Salter, who survives.
David was a graduate of the St. Marys High School, class of 1956 and a member of the Queen of the World Church. He served with the St. Marys Army Reserves.  David was employed with the A & P for over 20 years and retired from PNC Bank after more than 20 years of service.  He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons; Dean Ehrensberger, Scott Ehrensberger, and Shawn (Christina) Ehrensberger, all of St. Marys; three daughters; Amy (Glenn) Ginther, Anne (Todd) Breindel, and Renee (Adam) Neubert, all of St. Marys; and by eleven grandchildren, Amber and Jessica Ginther, Alex, Charlie, Gracee, and Jack Breindel, Taylor, Faith, and Devin Ehrensberger; James and Josie Neubert.
He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Ann (Edward) Mattivi and Kay Ehrensberger, both of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Abram, John, and Daniel Ehrensberger.
A Mass of Christian Burial for David W. Ehrensberger will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.
