David L. Green , 57, of 775 Washington Street, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at LifeCare Hospitals of Pittsburgh in Natrona Heights following a lengthy illness.
He was born on October 17, 1959, a son of the late Robert W. and Mary Fetterman Green.
Dave was Methodist by faith and was a graduate of St. Marys High School. He retired from Mersen after many years of service. He was a member and Past Governor of the Moose, and was also a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and stock car racing. He was an avid Penn State and Oakland Raiders fan.
He is survived by a brother, Gerald (Jean) Green of Copperas Cove, TX, three sisters, Linda (Wayne) Steis of St. Marys, Kathleen Cool of Austin and Karen (LaVerne "Tango") Haviland of St. Marys, and by a sister-in-law, Lydia Green of St. Marys. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Green and R. Donald Green.
Funeral Services for David L. Green will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hoover, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in St Marys Protestant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to a favorite charity.
