David M. Terwilliger

February 11, 1976 — July 28, 2014

David M. Terwilliger , 38, of 450 Chestnut Street, St. Marys, died on Monday evening, July 28, 2014 in Kersey following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born on February 11, 1976, a son of Harold Terwilliger, who survives, and the late Phyllis Nichols Terwilliger who preceded him in death on December 27, 2011.

On March 27, 1999 in St. Marys, he married Rebecca Donachy Terwilliger, who survives.

David was a lifelong resident of the area, attended St. Marys schools and graduated from Johnsonburg High School.  He was employed by Mersen and was a member of the Eagles.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the East End Tavern and working on cars and motorcycles.  He greatly enjoyed riding with his brother DeWayne and taking his kids for rides on his Harley.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children.

In addition to his father, Harold Terwilliger and his wife of more than 15 years, Rebecca Donachy Terwilliger, he is survived by a daughter, Sage Nicole Terwilliger and a son, Nico David Terwilliger, both at home.  He is also survived by 2 brothers, Michael (Lisa) Terwilliger, of Johnsonburg and DeWayne Terwilliger, of St. Marys; 2 sisters, Yvonne Terwilliger of Ridgway and Tracy Terwilliger of St. Marys, as well numerous nieces and nephews and his in-laws, Walter and Jeanette Donachy of St. Marys.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral Services for David M. Terwilliger will be celebrated on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys, PA 15857.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.


Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Terwilliger Family for their children's college funds.
