David J. Zimmett,
67, a recent resident of the Kane Lutheran Home and formerly of Ridgway and St. Marys,
died on Friday morning, March 29, 2013 following a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb 17, 1946 in St. Marys, a son of Madeline Wilson Zimmett of St. Marys and the late Joseph Zimmett.
Dave was Methodist by faith and had been a member of Ridgway United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for a number of years at Stackpole Carbon Company and also worked home construction. He was an avid fisherman and a devoted Yankees fan.
