Deborah D. Moriarity
, 49, of 372 Grant Street, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at her home following a long battle with cancer.
She was born on December 29, 1964 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Jerome and Mary Brown Moriarity.
Deb was a graduate of SMAHS and had been employed at Eastern Sintered Alloys, where she worked for more than 15 years. She enjoyed drawing, going for walks, and her pets. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children.
Surviving are a son, Kyle Sarginger, and a daughter, Rachel Sarginger, both of St. Marys, a brother, Michael (Lorraine) Moriarity of St. Marys, and a sister, Marie (Jack) Keesey of New Castle. She is also survived by her lifelong companion, Ray Sarginger of St. Marys, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Kathryn Moriarity on March 14, 2014.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Deborah D. Moriarity will be celebrated on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, with Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, as celebrant.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Community Nurses Hospice.
