Dennis J. Caskey

Dennis J. Caskey, 56, of Garfield Street, Byrnedale, PA, passed away at his home on Friday, August 11, 2023 following a lengthy illness.

He was born on April 26, 1967 in St. Marys, a son of the late John J. and Ruth A. Young Caskey.

Denny was a graduate of St. Marys High School, class of 1986 and worked for many years as custodian at Pinecrest Manor and Penn Highlands Elk. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time on his computer.

He is survived by his twin brother; Alan Caskey of Byrnedale, and brothers, Joseph Caskey and his wife Jeannie of Force and Mark Caskey of Byrnedale, as well as by 3 nephews and 1 niece; Bryan, Evan, Brandon, and Amanda, and by one great-niece. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, including Sandy Reagle, Susan (Rob) Zimmerman, Jane (Larry) Gleixner, Ron (Julie) Young, Betty Anderson and by numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as by several aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian for Dennis J. Caskey will be celebrated on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, as celebrant.

Family and friends will be received at Queen of the World Church on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.
