Devin E. Mertz

He was born June 19, 1988 in St. Marys, a son of Thomas A. Mertz of Kane and Kathryn Novosat Mertz of St. Marys.

Devin was a lifelong resident of the area and had attended St. Marys Area Schools. He enjoyed skateboarding, biking and spending time with his friends. Devin also gave the gift of life as an organ donor.

In addition to his parents, Thomas A. Mertz and Kathryn Novosat Mertz and her fiance Jim Levenduski, he is survived by:

Aunt: Gloria, Mrs. Ed Nussbaum, St. Marys
Uncle: Denny Mertz and his wife Lynn, St. Marys
Uncle: David Mertz and his wife Kathy, St. Marys
Uncle: Gary Mertz and his wife Mary Lee, St. Marys
Numerous: Cousins

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Mertz and a cousin, Jennifer Mertz

Funeral Services for Devin E. Mertz will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael Street, St. Marys, on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Michael Ferrick, Pastor of Queen of the World Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Force.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys on Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM
