Diane M. Schloder

Diane M. Schloder , 72, of 72 Erie Avenue Apt. 304, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.

She was born May 19, 1941 in St. Marys, a daughter of Miriam Kreckle Arnold of St. Marys and the late John Arnold.

Diane was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She was a homemaker for many years and then retired from Pinecrest after many years of service.  She had volunteered with the Girl Scouts and also at the Resale Shop.  She greatly enjoyed the outdoors and camping.  She greatly enjoyed black bears.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light and love of her life.

In addition to her father, John Arnold, she was preceded in death by:

Son: John Thomas Schloder in infancy

Funeral Services for Diane M. Schloder will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 140 N. St. Marys Street, St. Marys, on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Timothy Hoover, Pastor, ofi
