Dolores F. "Dolly" Bauer
, 80 of 1035 S. Michael Rd., St. Marys, died on Monday, January 20, 2014, at Pinecrest Manor following a short illness.
She was born on January 22, 1933 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Urban and Mary Wehler Feiley.
On October 15, 1955, in St. Marys Church, she married George Bauer, who survives.
Dolly was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Queen of the World Church. She was a graduate of SMAHS and retired from the former PennBank after more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband of more than 58 years, George Bauer, she is survived by a son, Jeff (Amy) Bauer of Cortland, NY, a daughter, Molly, Mrs. Thomas Gazda of State College, and three grandchildren, Chris Bauer, Riley Bauer, and Jake Gadza, She is also survived by 2 sisters, Martha Petty of Brockway; Mary Singer of St. Marys, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Feiley and a sister, Vera Lecker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857. Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday evening, January 22, 2014, at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys from 5-8 PM.
