Dolores H. Sorg

Dolores H. "Lori" Sorg , 69, of 406 Maple Avenue, Ridgway, was reunited in heaven with her husband on July 19, 2014.

She was born on January 17, 1945, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Donovan Ehrensberger.

On August 25, 1973, in Queen of the World Church, she married Henry W. Sorg, who preceded her in death on December 7, 2000.

Dolores was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Leo's Church in Ridgway.  She retired from Walmart Deli after many years of service.  She enjoyed mystery shows and reading.  She also enjoyed going to yard sales and shopping.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Denise (David) Johnson and Suanne Sorg, both of Ridgway, a son; Keith (Tina) Sorg of Mt. Holly Springs, PA and by 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Michael Johnson and Carson and Carley Sorg.  She is also survived by 3 sisters, Rita Weinzierl of St. Marys, Marlene Maholtz of Kersey and Joan (Earl) Eckl of Daguscahonda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paul and Richard Ehrensberger.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores H. Sorg will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 10:00 AM at St. Leo's Church, 111 Depot St., Ridgway, PA with Fr. Brian Vosslar, Pastor and Deacon Fred Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
