Dorothy M. Day

Dorothy M Day , 87, of Elk Towers in St. Marys and formerly of Ridgway, entered onto eternity on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.

She was born on April 1, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late John and Henrietta Eckert Diebel.

She was married to the late Ernest S. Day, who preceded her in death in 1998.

She was the beloved mother of a son, Paul Day of Ridgway, a daughter, Debra Sidelinger and her husband Randolph of St. Marys, and by a granddaughter, Mandy Sidelinger.  Dorothy's children were her greatest source of pride and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters in infancy, Virginia and Rose Marie Diebel.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy M. Day will be celebrated on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Leo's Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 with Fr. Justin Pino, officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery,
