He was born October 7, 1943 in St. Marys, a son of the late John and Rosemarie Gausman Sorg.
Ed was a lifelong resident of the area and attended area schools. He worked throughout his life as a truck driver and a mechanic at Sorg's Auto Body. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, going for rides and collecting coins.
