Edward H. Wilhelm

Edward H. Wilhelm , 87, of 1169 Windfall Road, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie following a brief illness.
He was born January 19, 1926 in St. Marys, a son of the late Edward J. and Anna Breindel Wilhelm
On September 8, 1951 in Force, he married the late Frances "Babe" Canton Wilhelm who preceded him in death on March 27, 2011.

Mr. Wilhelm was a member of the St. Marys Church.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946 during WWII.  He retired from St. Marys Carbon after many years of service.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, planting and landscaping.  He was very fond of his beloved pets and he also enjoyed music and was able to play many instruments.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Edward H. Wilhelm will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael Street, St. Marys, on Saturday, November 10, 2012  at 1:00 PM with Rev. Meinrad Lawson, O.S.B., Pastor of St. Marys Church, ofi
