Eileen R. Catalano

Eileen R. Catalano , age 82, formerly of Kaul Ave., passed away peacefully and with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011 at Elk Haven.

On March 31, 1948 she married Albert A. Catalano.  He preceded her in death on December 3, 2003.

Born in St. Mary's , on October 13, 1928,  she was the daughter of the late Fred and Eleanor  (Zimmett) Caseman.

She was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School.  Eileen worked many years at Stackpole's and later was a volunteer in the Hospitality Shop at the St. Mary's Hospital.

She was a member of Queen of the World Church, where she was a longtime choir member and active in the Cursillo.  She was also active in the C.M.F., the North Central PA Slovinian Polka Boosters, the area Boy Scouts where she once was a den mother, and enjoyed bowling and crocheting.

She is survived by  four sons,  David  A. Catalano and his wife Cindy, St. Mary's ; Timothy  J. Catalano and his companion of Janet, Hickory, NC; Kenneth  P. Catalano, St. Mary's; and Daniel  A. Catalano and his wife Mary Ellen, St. Mary's; two daughters,  Judith  A. wife of  Charles  Cole, St. Mary's; Mary Louise  R. wife of  Michael Maloney , Ridgway; a sister,  Martha Lovett, St. Mary's;  fourteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by two brothers, Robert and James Caseman; and two sisters, Alice and Marie Caseman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, at 9:30 AM on Saturday, August 6th,  with Rev. Michael Ferrick, Pastor, officiating.

Interment at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Mary's.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Nurse's,  757 Johnsonburg Rd.,  St. Mary's.
