Eleanor F. Herbstritt

Eleanor F. Herbstritt , 82, of S. St. Marys Street, St. Marys, died on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Pinecrest Manor.

A lifelong resident of the area and Chemistry and Biology teacher for more than 35 years at Elk County Catholic High School, she is survived by her husband; Maurice Herbstritt, and by three sons; Christopher Herbstritt, Matthew (Judy) Herbstritt, and Gregory (Angela) Herbstritt, as well as by 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Eleanor F. Herbstritt will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Thomas Curry, OSB, Pastor, as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elk County Catholic School System, 600 Maurus Street, St. Marys, PA 15857.
