Elizabeth C. Desjardins

Elizabeth C. "Elsie" Desjardins , 87, of 100 Forest Road, St. Marys, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

She was born January 5, 1926 in Neunkirchen, Germany, a daughter of the late Martin and Ella Scheer Kraeber.

She was married to the late Francis R. Fodge, who preceded her in death in 1986.  She was then preceded in death by her second husband, Gerard R. Desjardins, in 1988.

Mrs. Desjardins was a member of the St. Marys Church.  She retired from Pure Carbon Company after many years of service.  She enjoyed playing cards and reading.

Son: Michael Fodge and his wife Debra, Ohio
Daughter: Terri McRae, New Mexico
Daughter: Patricia Fodge and her husband Jack Tucker, St. Marys
6   Grandchildren
10   Great Grandchildren

In addition to her parents and her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marianne Janz.

There will be No Visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth C. "Elsie" Desjardins at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Church Street, St. Marys, on Saturday, April 28, 2012  at 12:00 PM with Rev. Meinrad Lawson, O.S.B., as Celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
