Elizabeth A. "Betty" Learn
, 82, of Omaha, Nebraska and formerly of St. Marys, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha after a short illness.
She was born on Friday, November 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Francis and Irene Miller Ehrensberger.
On December 31, 1956 in Queen of the World Church, she married Thomas J. Learn, who preceded her in death.
Betty graduated from St. Marys High School in 1949, and had been active in many social activities in Omaha.
She is survived by a sister, Carol (Brian) O'Hern of Shirley, MA, 15 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Rita Eckert.
A Memorial Service for Elizabeth A. Learn will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, officiating.
A Gathering will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
