Emma R. Fuenffinger

Emma R. Fuenffinger, 84, of 1325 Glen Hazel Road, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Pinecrest Manor following a lengthy illness.
She was born on July 9, 1931, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Merle and Elva Johnson Smouse.
On May 17, 1952 in Ridgway, PA, she married Melvin F. Feunffinger, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2015.
Mrs. Fuenffinger was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Ridgway High School, class of 1949. She worked for many years at Stackpole Carbon Company and enjoyed gardening and knitting.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Neal) Shaffer of Elderton, PA and Darlene Fuenffinger of St. Marys, and by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Smouse of Florida and Roger (Carol) Smouse of Hawaii, as well as by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Smouse, and a sister, Lucille Smouse.
Funeral and committal services for Emma R. Fuenffinger are being held privately. Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
