Ethel Lecker , 93, of 106 Lynch Road, St. Marys, died on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center following a brief illness.

She was born June 9, 1918 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Thomas and Kathryn Kriegel Jacob.

On February 25, 1936 in St. Marys Catholic Church, she married the late James H. Lecker, who preceded her in death on June 26, 2004.

Mrs. Lecker was a member of Sacred Heart Church.  She worked at Sylvania for several years.  She enjoyed gardening and yardwork.  She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading.  Among her many activities, Mrs. Lecker especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

1 Brother: Leo Jacob

There will be No Visitation.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 325 Center Street, St. Marys, on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM  with Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., as Celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
