Ferdinand "Buzz" Schlimm

Ferdinand G. "Buzz" Schlimm , 75, of 289 West Creek Road, St. Marys, died at his home on Sunday, June 3, 2012.

He was born November 25, 1936 in St. Marys, a son of the late Ferdinand E. and Esther Straub Schlimm.

On September 2, 1957 in St. Marys Church, he married his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, the late Jeanne Detsch Schlimm.

Mr. Schlimm was a member of St. Marys Church.  He graduated from Central High School, class of 1954.  He owned and operated Schlimm's Market with his wife for many years.  They also owned and operated Adventure's Morgan Horse Stables for many years and enjoyed their life together on the horse farm.    He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of Ferdinand "Buzz" Schlimm are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be Celebrated at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Church Street, St. Marys, on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Meinrad Lawson, O.S.B., as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
