Frances V. Green

Frances V. Green , 73, of Kersey, died on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.

She was born January 20, 1939 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine Keller Hoffman.
On September 10, 1960, she married Darrel C. Green, who survives.

Mrs. Green was a member of Sacred Heart Church.  She graduated from Central High School, class of 1957.  She retired from St. Marys Carbon after more than 46 years of service.  She was very active and enjoyed volunteering with the Sacred Heart Social Committee and the Christian Food Bank.  She was also a volunteer at the gift shop at Elk Regional.  She enjoyed traveling, quilting and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Kathleen D'Amore and Veronica Schneider

There will be No Visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be Celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church
325 Center Street, St. Marys, on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
