Frank P. Troha
, 67, of St. Marys, died on Wednesday afternoon, June 29, 2016 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born on May 19, 1949 in St. Marys, a son of the late Frank and Rose Trgovac Troha.
Frank was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of ECCHS, class of 1967. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972 during the Vietnam War. He was a longstanding insurance agent and the owner of the F.P. Troha Insurance Agency in St. Marys for many years.
In addition to his friend and former wife, Jeanne Troha, he is survived by two daughters, Kristen, Mrs. David Ricupero of Verona, Carrie, Mrs. David Takarsh of Martinsburg, WV, and by a son, Michael Troha of Port Matilda. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Maisy Takarsh and by a sister, Paula (Dean) Hansen of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank P. Troha will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA with Fr. Eric Vogt, OSB as celebrant.
Military Honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
