Gerald L. Boroi
, 78, of 609 Shelvey Summit Road, Kersey, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
He was born October 22, 1935 in Elbon, PA, a son of the late Samuel and Sara Lindenmuth Boroi.
On May 24, 1958, in Toby Methodist Church, he married Carol Fredrickson Boroi, who preceded him in death on April 11, 2005. On October 16, 2007 in Toby United Methodist Church, he then married Doris Gearhart Wolff Boroi, who survives.
Mr. Boroi was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Toby United Methodist Church. He retired from the Carbide-Graphite Group after more than 43 years of service. He was a member of the Kersey Fire Department, where he also volunteered with the i
