Glenn C. Resch

Glenn C. Resch , 73, of 922 Hickory Road, St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born on December 2, 1943, in Kersey, a son of the late Joseph, Sr. and Martha Raffeinner Resch.

On June 24, 1967, in Sacred Heart Church, he married Janet Conroy Resch, who survives.  They would have a celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this summer.

Glenn was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Queen of the World Church.  He retired from Keystone Carbon Company after many years of service.  Glenn was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  He loved visiting his friends and neighbors and enjoying a cup of coffee with them.  He was an excellent woodworker and liked to ride his 4-wheeler.  He also enjoyed attending local sporting events, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of nearly 50 years, Janet Conroy Resch, he is survived by three daughters; Darlene (Danny "Dusty") Rhoades of Kersey,
Laura (Jeff Dudek) Resch of Larksville, PA and Tina (John) Tegano of Kersey, and by four grandchildren; Zach (Kyrsten Bowley) Reuscher, Nick Reuscher, Ryan Tegano, Maria Tegano and by one great-grandson, Zayden.  He is also survived by a brother; Donald (Dolores) Resch and a sister, Donna Cribbs, both of Kersey, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Resch, and by a sister, Mary Wennin.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Glenn C. Resch will be celebrated on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 12:30 PM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA with Fr. Jeff Noble, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on  Monday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Queen of the World Church or to the American Heart Association.
