Gregg J. "Shamu" Erich , 47, of 133 Wehler Road, St. Marys, died on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a short illness.
He was born June 28, 1964 in St. Marys, a son of John "Jack" Erich of St. Marys and the late Jean M. Vollmer Erich, his beloved mother who preceded him in death on April 16, 2010.
Gregg was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of ECCHS, class of 1982. He was employed for several years at Keystone Carbon Company and had owned and operated Erich Excavating for many years. He enjoyed hunting and
spending time with friends and family, especially his 2 nephews.

There will be No Visitation.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at the Queen Of The World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, on
Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM
with Rev. Michael Ferrick, Pastor, and Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., Concelebrants.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
