Harold C. "Red" Cheatle

Harold C. "Red" Cheatle, 92, of Mountain Laurel Nursing Home, Clearfield, and formerly of 672 Washington St., St. Marys, died on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Mountain Laurel Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

He was born on January 5, 1922, a son of the late Edward and Lillian Davis Cheatle.

Harold retired from Stackpole Carbon Company after more than 38 years of service, where he was also a member of the Quarter Century Club.  Years ago, he had also worked at Speer Carbon Company.  He was a member of the Shiloh Presbyterian Church and enjoyed music and cars.  He was the last member of his immediate family.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Dietz, and by 4 brothers, Walter, Wilfred, Edward and Charles Cheatle.

A Funeral Service for Harold C. Cheatle will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys, PA  15857.

There will be no visitation.
Interment will be in St Marys Protestant Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
