Irene T. Rieder , 82, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 209 Madison Street, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 following a brief illness.
She was born October 12, 1928 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Arnold and Catherine Krug Wurm.
She was married to the late Thomas Rieder, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 26, 1978.
Mrs. Rieder was a member of the St. Marys Church. She had worked in the cafeteria at St. Marys Parochial School in her later years and she greatly enjoyed the students she served over the years. She also enjoyed Bingo and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Irene T. Rieder will be Celebrated at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Church Street, St. Marys, on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Meinrad Lawson, O.S.B., as Celebrant.
