John G. "Jack" Meyer
, 80, of 120 Lecker Road, St. Marys, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at his home.
He was born November 29, 1930 in Dagus Mines, a son of the late George and Helen Wildnauer Meyer, Jr.
On February 23, 1952 in Rhode Island, he married the late Yvonne C. Fields Meyer, who preceded him in death on December 13, 1999.
Mr. Meyer was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Schools. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1954 and retired from Stackpole Carbon Company after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of Queen of the World Church and was also a member of the Camp Owner's, the American Legion and the Eagles. He enjoyed spending time at camp, hunting and i
