Joseph Kneidel

Joseph D. "Joe" Kneidel , 19, of 253 Grove Avenue, Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born on December 6, 1996, a son of Christopher Kneidel of St. Marys and Laura  Miller of Johnsonburg.

Joe was a lifelong resident of the area and was an avid Jeep fan who loved Jeeps and going on rides with his friends.  He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family.  He also loved spending time with his niece and nephews.  Joe gave the ultimate gift as an organ donor following his death, and his spirit will live on in those he helped with his gift of organ donation.

In addition to his parents, Christopher Kneidel and Laura Miller, he is survived by two brothers, Joshua Burger and Jake (Marissa Pangallo) Kneidel, both of St. Marys, his paternal grandfather, Robert Kneidel of St. Marys, and by his niece and nephews, Gabriella, Tekoda and Taylon.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gloria McAllister Kneidel and by his maternal grandparents, O. Donald and Elizabeth Seelye Miller.

Funeral Services for Joseph D. Kneidel will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 10:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., Pastor of Sacred Heart Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
