Lance P. Froberg

Lance P. "Stretch" Froberg , 65, of 40 Hauber Avenue, St. Marys, died on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Forbes Hospital following a short illness.

He was born on May 7, 1956, in St. Marys, a son of the late George and Anna Fischer Froberg.

Lance was a graduate of ECCHS, class of 1974.  He then served 6 years in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1980.  He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church and worked for many years in the powdered metal industry.  Lance had also been a caregiver for many years to his mother.  An avid sports fan, he greatly enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs, San Franscisco Giants, and the San Antonio Spurs.  He also enjoyed trips to the casino.

He is survived by two brothers; Andrew Froberg and David Froberg, both of St. Marys.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lance P. Froberg will be celebrated on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Thomas Curry, Pastor, and Deacons Bill Gibson and Andy Froberg assisting.
Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Military Honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or to a charity of choice.
