Laurel V. Brouse

Laurel V. Brouse , 60, of Stoney Lane, Ridgway died on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Penn Highlands Elk following a lengthy illness.

She was born on January 15, 1961 in Coudersport, Pa, a daughter of the late Donald Milchuck and Shirley Burfield Milchuck of St. Marys.

Laurel worked at DuBois Regional Medical Center for more than 18 years as a medical secretary, a job she greatly enjoyed.  Crafty, funny, and one of a kind, Laurel also loved music and dancing.  She enjoyed the outdoors, especially watching the moon and stars.  Throughout the years, she also enjoyed playing Bingo and loved trips to the casino with her friends.

Laurel is survived by her daughter; Liza Murray and her fiancé Nathan Hatcher of St. Marys, and by six grandchildren; Zayne Murray, Jaidyn Murray, Tanzleigh Morrison, Decclan Murray, Kolter Hatcher and Khy-West Hatcher.  She is also survived by four siblings; Brian (MyongAe) Milchuck of Lawrenceville, GA, Bruce (Johanna) Milchuck of Chesapeake, VA, Dianna (John) Pugliese of Mullica Hill, NJ and John (Teresa) Milchuck of Huntsville, AL as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral and Committal Services are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.
