Lawanda O. "Peggy" Lindenmuth
, 75, of 105 Toby Road, Dagus Mines, died on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illess.
She was born on June 5, 1939, in Brookville, PA, a daughter of the late Homer and Vera Gahagan Condron.
On July 1, 1961 in Maria Lutheran Church, she married Dale Lindenmuth, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 22, 1991.
Peggy was a longtime resident of the area and early on had worked at Stackpole Carbon Company. She then retired in 2004 from Elco Sintered Alloys after more than 31 years of service. She enjoyed tending to the flowers on her porch and going through her many cookbooks, bur most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Mark) Brem of Kersey, a son, Dale Lindenmuth, Jr. of Dagus Mines, a grandson, Jacob Lindenmuth of Dagus Mines and by a sister, Connie Cuneo of Reynoldville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Harold, Carl, Thomas, Ronald, and Charles Condron.
At Peggy's request, funeral and committal services are being held privately.
Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
