, 84, of 151 Dagus Mines Road, Kersey, died Thursday evening, January 27, 2011, at Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
He was born January 18, 1927 in Dagus Mines, a son of the late Frederick and Christine Mosier Swanson.
On February 7, 1948 in St. Marys Catholic Church, he married the late Marcella Geitner Swanson, who preceded him in death on November 22, 2005.
Mr. Swanson was lifelong resident of Kersey and worked at Speer Carbon Company prior to entering the service. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacii
